Surgery Update

In response to the Prime Ministers announcement of a level 5 lockdown, and the need to support the covid vaccination programme, we have reviewed our operating procedures and we will be making some immediate changes to the way we deliver our services in order to ensure that we can keep our patients and staff safe.

We will continue by to focus our services on supporting the most vulnerable groups in our population, and ensuring that all our patients can access clinical advice through eConsult, our website and if necessary, on the phone.

Our clinical teams will triage all patients and will continue to see patients face to face where this is clinically indicated , and we will do this in a socially distanced and safe way.

We ask that you comply with the information that we will provide about how to access our services, in particular the need to wear a mask or other form of face covering such as a visor when you are in the building, and help us by accessing online services wherever possible. Patients coming to the surgery will need to have a booked appointment and therefore we will be closing the surgery doors once again.

We appreciate that this is a difficult time for everyone, and we hope that you will support us in making these changes.
